Hi all my peeps

Havn't been on for a few days, just so much to do round bout house and xmas shopping. Will start reading back and hope I haven't missed too much.

Tears in my eyes with the connecticut primary school shooting...so so sad:(:(

My SIL is a teacher in Nebraska. A few months ago a mother (who was a teacher as well) had her children taken into care because both parent were drinkers. She threatened to go into a school and shoot kids unless she got her kids back. All schools were put on alert and also letters sent home with children advising parent to be on their guard.

Well... all children were ushered into school as soon as they arrived, there was no school ground activities and parents entered into school to collesct kids. At no time were children to be outside the school building on their own.
During this period there were no chidren in the streets playing.
How sad is this?
