  • Good morning everyone

PM - don't let the little blip stop you trying to quit smoking. We are all behind you hun.

BP - I know someone moaned at you on the elite, but I have been on there quite a bit with this glitch and the main thing I have realised is that quite a few of them love to moan at something or someone. Like a lot of them call Henlans but in secret I suspect most are jealous of his determination to get as much out of this as he can.

So everyone have a great glitching day today

    Take care all

Congrats on your win. I thought your grandaughter was going to do something with cooking which is why she was interested in the GFS? Are the kids progressing how they should after the operation?

Quite right Blue ....My granddaughter had her heart set on cookery and had a placement at a very good local restaurant for 2 weeks earlier this year. She found the background noise too much to enable her to concentrate on what was being said to her directly....the clattering of pots and pans would override speech and not everyone spoke whilst looking at her so she could not lip read, also with lots of shouting out orders going on as well as the heat in the kitchen she realised it was not for her...she still cooks and bakes all the time at home though.....she went to an open day at college and decided that photography would be a far more peaceful option and so far so good.
Update on implants...she is coping very well with both hers, and has them on all the time now, she finds it amusing now that she can 'hear' noises from both sides and after years of turning her head one way ,towards sound, she now has to turn it the other way , I have found I do not have to wave my hand to attract her attention,as she is more aware when I am speaking to her even when has her head turned away from me....grandson not so good, but getting there...he's getting headaches ,still lots of 'interference sounds' so only using both in the peace and quiet of his bedroom , watching TV with subtitles learning what the new noises mean.
