Reading through the weekly email noticed this for Amex cardholders(if you live in/near London anyway) spend £50 in London on your Amex get £25 back
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2012/11/amex-offers-25-off-big-london-purchases-this-weekend
Not sure if any good for jeferey or BL as dependant on being near London
Thanks AH but I never venture into London despite being only 30 miles away!
What a lucky escape for your DN
Had a really odd incident on Saturday. Came out of Sada and ther was a little stall selling hot cinnamon flavoured nuts outside. Stopped for a taster (as you do) and started chatting to the stallholder. Then she asked me if I would do her a favour - could I go back into Sada and buy an Extra Tasty chicken from the rotisserie counter. She gave me £20 to pay for it and said she would give me a free bag of nuts. Since the nuts were £3.50 a bag that seemed like quite a bargain. So went in and got her the chicken. Cost £5.40 - turned out it was for her dog :eek: :rotfl::rotfl:
The nuts were lovely - I'm not a great fan of nuts but these were gorgeous. Would be lovely on ice cream.0 -

£5.40 for a chicken for a dog:eek: she must be rich to pay that much for dog food.
Nice of you to do her a favour though, that was your good deed of the day. Free nuts was a bonus as well.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I couldn't believe she was trusting enough to give £20 to a total stranger! Must be big profits to make in the nut trade!!0 -
