    Evening all,
PC is working again :) but after my post yesterday I dropped my phone.......in the bath :eek::eek::eek: it is currently on it's 2nd 24 hours in dried rice :(

DD2's party went well after numerous hitches. We booked the hall for 3 hours, so that we had 1/2 hr to set everything up. Arrived and half of the parents were standing waiting :eek: went in and got everything sorted then 12 children turned up that had not replied AT ALL :eek: I had a funny feeling that this might happen so I am glad I took extra food and party bags. Phew... Why can't people just reply? And read invites properly, anyway DD2 had a great wee time.

This is the first party I have done for my children since DD1 died and it was very hard, such a big hole and I found myself very lost in the madness. Hard to explain really..

Anyway have done all my ironing :j so having a cuppa and a catch up x

As long as your DD2 had a lovely party then it was worth all the struggle.

Well done on arranging such a lovely day for her:T:T

  • Good morning everyone:)

See Doc & BP were true to their word:D:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just a heads up for Boots shoppers after the advantage pts christmas evenings they are on again this week need to check your area they are on Weds or Thurs. They also advertising some for end of Nov also so hopefully will give out the extra 500 coupon like last event this time for the end of nov:D;)
I split my shops into £50 amounts as all though you get the 1200 pts for every £50 spend ie over £100 2400pts but at the end of transaction they only give 1 till spit for 500 extra pts next event where as if you do 2 x £50 sale you will get 2 till spits for next event I realised this at last years events therefore getting £17 worth of pts off a £50 spend:j HTH

What I do is 2 x £50 sales at begining of events getting the £12 worth of pts but then as I get 2 x 500 T/Spits each other event I save £17 worth of pts on each doing 2 x £50 transactions at each event.

THEN I HIT THE 75% SALE SPENDING ALL MY POINTS ACCRUED OVER THE YEAR:j:j:j picking up some prezzies cheap for the following year:D;)

Glad DD's party went great in the end:j and more people turned up even if un expexcted and shame the parents didn't think to reply as they know you would be sorting party bags for each child:(. It was good to take them little steps, well done you :A and sure there will be more down the line. Remember people are only too willing to help when asked.:A:A:A
