Can only explain my absence as being overwhelmed, the recent flurry of glitches with Asda has taken its toll and it was all I could do to try and keep up with the fb threads. Life has overwhelmed me somewhat lately too and something had to give.

I asked for some support on the elite fb for some votes for my daughter and her fiance in a fb comp to win a wedding cake and I was shocked when I have received over the last 36 hours no less than 6 personal fb messages which were, how can I put this, well - vile. 3 were from the same person, the other 3 each different. All said pretty much the same thing, that I am an attention seeking female dog and slating me for hijacking the previous post from another member for the same comp. It would seem quite obvious from the sudden increase in votes for the first couple (and boasting on the elite fb itself) that multiple accounts are being used for the voting process and my post has been seen as ammo to fuel this, so much so that Beth does not have a smidge of a chance now. Its not the winning that matters, to be honest, Beth has been very low lately coping with Connor being away and daily worries (the recent death of the young female medic, Channing) upset everyone because she was from Connor's camp. No one is safe! When I saw the comp listed I thought it would give her a boost which it has but now all the pleasure has been sucked from it by some nasty minded individuals.

I recall now exactly why I stayed here on drivel and only lurked a little on elite. When Ive finished on here, Im going over and removing myself from "the group" even though I will miss the tips and glitches. I cannot be part of that, and last thing I need or want is nasty messaging. Honestly, I thought we were all grown ups! These people should be ashamed of themselves!

Anyway, I see that today is FV's birthday and it is that that has spurred me to come back to where it is safe. The drivel thread, like a duvet to hide beneath. I was just getting into fb, I like the access to comps etc. Not liking it much right now. Im sticking with you if you'll have me back.

Havent had an hour or two to read backwards, sorry so I will try and keep up with whats been going on in people's lives. Ive got a message from snowdrop to reply to...

Well I am starting to recover from my afternoon/evening with Blue. She has more energy than me.


While we were in Asda we looked at the magazine that Bullshots DS and DIL's house was featured in. Gorgeous cottage, beautiful beams. Loved the wood kitchen table, in fact a really lovely house, and yes we spotted Bully's chicken in the background.

Yes, I made a choccy cake to scoff with a cuppa.:rotfl:

Blue, me and my DS went for a drive in her car, then she brought us home (with our shopping) and then she was off on another errand.
