I'm liking my new American Express card. I got £35 cashback and they have a promo on this month if you buy something for £5+ in certain shops you get £5 credit on your account. Done 2 already, OH keeps wondering why I'm buying her flowers (I'm not telling her they were free - me keep in good books!

I'm going to have free lunch at a pub near work tomorrow and there is a butchers near home so I'll get some carni there at the weekend.

Answer :
a) No annual Fee
b) Yes 2nd year annual Fee
c) Fee's only chargeable on Platinum card

No I've got Gold card - answer is b). I will cancel before then like all other Amex cards I've had previously and got cashback on
Other Amex card I still have is blue and is the Express Rewards Credit Card (no fee) which you can't get any more and which I use solely for supermarket shopping as I get 1.5% back and I get £25 gift card for M&S.
