  • yeah i'm ok thanks ,just been busy at home & work & knew i was spending far too much time on here & falling asleep evening at silly o'clock & then going up to bed & not being able to fall back to sleep, also been on FB skipping group which i also cant keep up with .As for work i've ended up doing more hours as the guy who also cooks has been off sick with !!!!!! oops sorry ment tennis elbow lol so atmoshere been much better .still cant fathom out new boss ,he seems a bit better but he never thanked me for coming in on some of my normal days off ,& i did a function last Sunday for 102 people & it went like clock work but he never said well done to the staff i had loads of compliments from people attending but a well done from him to all the staff would have boosted moral abit .i'm still keeping my eyes peeled for another suitable job but jobs in this neck of the works are few & far between

You are right it is amazing how far a few simple compliments do to moral and shame people don't think about this more especially in the work place and it would be a much happier enviroment:A:A:A

I only listed it at weekend so 8 days to go, but it worries me she might be the only bidder:(

I still list as much as I can on ebay, I know a lot of other mse'ers do too.

As you charge the buyer for the postage its not a great problem tbh, but I only list of free listing days.

You could do a car boot sale to get rid of your stuff (weather permitting of course):rotfl:but you get your hagglers and difficult buyers there too.:rotfl:

    Hi ya

If still 8 days to go I would leave it til day before auction end then if still wary cancel her bid and block her to stop her rebidding. But if you say she has only ever one 5 items she may not bid very high on stuff and may get out bid. Did you know you can search a person and see every item they have bid on (even ones not won) may make interesting reading.

I managed to get abt 15 or so items put on and few bigger bits on gum tree and already been contacted abt one on there baby gym piano thing. Just need to get some room b4 we get swamped again at Xmas lol

    Morning all

It's soooo peaceful here just me and bubs as kids back tI school today . Had a good weekend got some tidying done listed few bits on eBay got loft ladder finally fitted (had to hoist off top of a step ladder for 5 yrs) going to set target this week to take 20 items to charity shop and go thru kids drawers to take out old outgrown clothes.

Managed to get some Hardy's red at weekend for family only to be told by most they don't want that stuff arrggghhhhh no pleasing some and we don't drink wine. Even in hard times people get bl00dy picky .

My sis off to look at new flat as moving in with bf hopefully so they really excited and she been texting me all week for cheapest prices best deals etc on stuff they will need bless.

Cup of tea now I think then a few laps of chasing bubsy round the house b4 lunch.

Morning all. Back at work after 10 days off, roll on xmas!

I sell on eBay occasionally and haven't had much trouble. Just got over £100 from last 4 items we flogged. I always add a bit to postage to try and cover some of the fees.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
