DS' first day at big school. He cried not me when he realised I was leaving. He doesn't like the fact he has to go in from playtime. He'll learn and get used yo it.That's a shame he cried, I thought he was looking forward to going to school. How many hours is he at school? Hopefully he will meet you at the gate with a big grin and a nice piccy for your fridge;)
I think he might be in reception now so probably 9 to 3.30???
I guess he won't take much time to adjust there as he is already used to nursery....:) Aesop do you still need child care after school hours??0 -

Doc what model Philips steam generater iron were you talking about a while back ? we took our tefal steam generater which we had had for a while back to Cosco as recently kept spitting muck even thou we had cleaned it and descaled it got £93 back so used it towards the only other generater iron in Cosco a Philips Auto Calc Clean pressurised ironing system 9140 series hopefully have posted a link to one similar from Philips website we paid £215 just trying to see how prices compare elswhere. We normally only get these with their coupons they do but DH got so cross when he ironed a shirt for going out and it spat muck on it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so I got a new iron:D;)
Steam Generator Iron > IntelliCare Auto Calc Clean ECO Pressurised steam generator
2nd one down looks like the one I have
Yes think this is the one although pic on box says 9100 series instruction booklet says 91400 -
Hiya Blue and anyone else interested in cleaning stuff APG
. You buy the cleaning stuff in 3s at A as it compares against W with their 3 for 2 prices. As your cheapie buy either the Asda yellow toilet gel for 75p or the Asda yellow cream cleaner for 62p, add 2 more expensive cleaning items (check MSM to see they are on offer at W) and you should get a decent APG back. Subject to adding some filler items to get minimum number of items required for APG, peeps usually get 10 different items. You could get 1 cheapie and 5 exp, but then you may end up with APG over £10. Cleaning item number must be in 3s. I got the Buster drain unblocker as I would not normally pay nearly £3 for something you pour down the drain, but it really works! So may go back and get some more today if I have time later. Good luck all

DS is only half day for 3 weeks! Really annoying, have to go and pick him up at 1.30pm, take him back to old nursery go back to work and then pick him up after work.
Friend has offered to drive me every lunchtime to go and get him which helps.
Today I am just collecting him. we were supposed to meet friend after so kids could play but as usual she flaked out on meluckily I never tell DS anymore when we are supposed to be meeting his friends as he gets so disappointed when we don't.
He knows two friends, but they are in the class next door, and he was very disappointed that he will only see them at playtime and lunchtime.
He will settle easy enough. Just first day, he was very excited going there, and talking about everything, it was once we got in the classroom, he was clinging onto me, whereas the other kids had settled down and got out cars, drawing on the computer, etc.
I left him crying in front of the computer, one of the teaching assistants was talking to him. When I looked around, he had stopped crying but was just sitting in front of the computer.
He will be fine, and i know that
He will go 9.00am to 3.30pm 1 October. Then I will just pick him up and take him park/home. No after school club for me thank goodness! I couldn't afford that with school dinners too! I have spent £300 just getting him kitted for school, spare uniforms, shoes, bags, school dinners, etc.0 -
