Funny cos I have spent 3/4 of my life here in the south but consider myself scottish and proud of it :j . When it comes to footie my kids love winding me up about it as they of course support England.
OH is scottish so I'm used to 'hen' as well as the meaning of 'messages' and 'pieces' and can now tell you the diff between ham, gammon and bacon once north of the boarder

10 pointd AH - you've not forgottenAlways remember OH saying when he first came down here that he asked for a ham roll expecting hot bacon in a cafe - for some reason always tugs at my heart strings when I think of that story. He was only young and to be so far away from home must've been awfully hard.
So, just been up to shuffle a few things around in the loft, thought I'd count up the bottles of comfort from various places = 21  and I know I have a few more in the shed. Now...do I need some lenor tomorrow :think:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
