I can easily get to London anytime Aesop for a meet up 40 min train to St Pancress:). I have only just recently got the confidence now to drive and park at the station without having to rely on DH SAD I know:o:o:o but a case of having to with DS at this school couldn't rely on DSIL to always drop me. So now has opened new doors as can jump on the train and meet people:j.

Granted made a big error of judgement few weeks back DH had to work on the Sunday so I had to drop DS back & travel on my own back in the evening and it was dark got off train at Kings Cross and had to get train from St Pancress one just pulled away as got there but another was due in in 4 mins checked it stopped at my stop great so got on:o:o:o dooh only realised it was a slow one stopping at all heading out of London trouble was it emptied really quickly and left me alone with some scarry people half way through the journey and made me feel quite vunerable started to panic as DH wouldn't answer his phone:mad:. Eventually he rang me and spent the last 15 minutes of the journey with him hanging on the phone until I got to the car and locked the doors as a drunk got off with me. So lesson learn't me think

My kids and others laugh at me and try and get me to say lawn mower they think it really funny how I say it so must be a bit of the scottish lilt but you would never know it when I talk as been down south too too long. My sister and brother still talk in a Scottish dialect one younger one older strange. My kids laugh at when Gran would always say scullery for the kitchen DS2 talked of this a few weeks back saying he never understood what she meant:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
