    Hi CL

Nope these are new socks the men's winter socks are back to proper price. These are kids sport socks, meant to be boys but I got some for my daughter too as they are just plain white super soft and fluffy. If you're interested I'll dig thru and post some details and bar codes for you after dinner. Got sizes from small 9-12 UPTO large size 4-6.5 think the whole family could now wear 4p socks lol

I just realised as I will be carrying it all in, (on the bus) I might as well do a carrier bag full, so will get some other items, ie soups, etc. :)

Yes, it is nicer than just giving a tin of sweetcorn like my mum used to give me to take in.

The important part is what is written on the card the new ones have feel fresh socks written and the "special" packs don't say feel fresh just boys sports socks they do ten in 3-4 diff sizes and as long as they are all £4 ones with same writing and white it will work. Think other items been reported too but not had chance to read properly. Tights bikinis costumes and few other hits I think are 4ping also.

    very addictive!

  • so glad PM that Bella is on the mend.

Happy with the andrex/kleenex thing, been so long since Ive been in my local T, didnt realise it had had a makeover. About time, not so for the staff though, still miserable lot. Used the kleenex 50p from fb too, all well.

Great news about my mum. Pneumonia was confirmed but amazingly it is resolving, slowly of course. Mum's oxygen has been reduced with the aim to come off completely by Monday. Nebuliser redundant! Just waiting for a bed in her local (Burnham on Sea) cottage hospital to become available for rehab. Yesterday she was encouraged to wash herself and dress which she sort of managed. Will be a long recovery. This is the 4th bout of pneumonia in the last 10 years, along with two minor strokes, several leg ulcers. To quote Dolly Parton "she's a sparrow when she's broken, but an Eagle when she flies". I have been carrying with a sense of foreboading that this could be "it" when she was taken in. Dear Mum has proved me wrong! Without the oxygen tubes Mum can now engage in conversations with her ward mates and the elderly lady brought in on same day that my mum was convinced was a man, lol, she has found to have a lot in common with. Bless.

Still my heart is in a quandry but it is less stressful, I am just so relieved that Mum is not suffering and struggling to breath so much any more.

Bump is growing! Id forgotten how frustratingly slow each week in pregnancy drags. I want little Luca here now for a cuddle!

Bless to CM little boy, taking his first steps. Have a little mental picture, thanks for that.

Love and hugs to all x
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
