Hello

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place etc..

I'm looking for ideas on where to sell books/CD/Clother - I've tried ebay a number of times and have never had much success (I clearly better at buying on ebay rather than selling!!)

I've also done car boot sales - again with little success! is there anywhere else I can sell.

Thanks you

You could well have items just not worth selling, not everything second hand has a value and frankly if you've tried ebay and car boots you might have to think about donating the stuff to a charity shop.

For CDs though it is always worth a quick look on Music magpie, and for books Amazon (some CDs do well there also).

Have you tried searching on Facebook for a buying and selling group near you?
The advantages of these are that they are free to use and people collect so there is no postage to pay.

If you've got loads of clothes you might be able to find a "ragman" to take them. They'll only pay around 40p-50p per kilo (around £5 for a black bag, I believe), but it's a great way to get rid of the bulk.
