    Yeah usually I have at least one day off, and two half days.

    And, presumably, two days at the weekend.
  • No I have not actually considered that, but saying that I doubt there are any of those kind of jobs around here, if they where they probably would want a degree,

    You don't need a degree to become a software tester; just a technical mind and competence in writing up bug reports.

    Many testers I've worked with have been students, so there's no real educational prerequisite.

    Wherever there are software developers, there will always be a need for good testers.
