I started work on Tuesday, and my employers pay out on Friday for the previous weeks work.
I handed in my timesheet on Friday, and today is Sunday and I still haven't received anything in my bank account.
Is this normal?

you might not be on payroll yet, especially if work is normally monday onwards, give it a few more weeks before worrying.0

if you started on tuesday and they pay for the previous week odds on you'll be paid next friday. unless i'm wrong its called a week in hand0

i think you might be abit confused over the way it works in most cases
you started to work there on
Tuesday the 28th Aug
on the 31st you put in your time sheet
you will be payed for them hours on Friday the 7th of sep then if/when you leave your be payed one week after you have gone
it is just working 1 week in advance and is nothing to worry about
