P46 Student Loan Question
I am filling out my P46 for my first job starting mid September. For the student loans part it says
"If you left a course of UK Higher Education before last 6 April and received your first UK Student Loan instalment on or after 1 September 1998 and you have not fully repaid your Student Loan, enter "X" in box D."
So do I enter X in the box?
I started my first uni course September 2006 - April 2009 and did not complete it of which I had a tuition fee loan for. I then started at a new uni September 2009 and graduated in June 2012 which I also had student loans for.
I'm unsure if the first course counts as I left it and did a new one?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there,
Yes I think so. At the end of the day, you do need to pay it back really.
You could not tick that and then not pay your student loan. BUT they will catch up with you eventually trust me on that. Realistically, You do need to pay it off as they charge compound interest.0
