    Afternoon all

Living room thoroughly cleaned and tidied
WM1 about to go on the line

DS2 has been 2 and from school on the bus for the first time for his induction
    DS3 back at school
DS1 gone to golf but with a flea in his ear

Need to take DS2 to the shops this afternoon for a new bag for school (why did he not mention this in the 10 weeks since his last exam!)

    Hello all.

Pixiedust - for dog hair (and I have three, all different colours!), I have a very good vacuum cleaner, and when that fails, get on my hands and knees with a small hard brush. Other than that, I just relax: dogs = hairs. Did I mention I just got a cream rug?!!

    Today I have:

Put off doing monthly grocery list
Been on wasted 10 mile round trip to town, will have to go back Friday for what I want
    Walked dogs
Dropped prescription request off at docs
Got washing done ready to go on line
Done my first 15 mins in the garden

I'm going to spend the rest of the day alternating between 15 mins work in garden, and something from the fly lady list. It really worked for me yesterday.
Spend less now, work less later.

Thanks Jazee, I've got a Dy**n pet Vacuum which has great suction but bloomin heavy to lug around. Will try the hard brush on the carpet though thanks. I'd love a cream rug :), infact I'd love a cream sofa, but no chance in this house :eek:Hopefully in the not too distant future when money allows we will decorate our lounge and we are having laminate put down. The carpet is about 20 yrs old and desperately needs changing.

It would be nice to have a meal without a dog hair in it somewhere though, don't think I'd win come dine with me :rotfl:

    Hi peeps

Back from the Lakes late yesterday, waved to several flyladies as I passed their signposts :D.
Stuff everywhere at the moment with the kitchen floor full of washing so playing a big catch up and get ahead as back to the dreaded paid stuff tomorrow.

Big Thanks to Juliejim for this weeks thread and another Thank you to Dusty for last week.

Havent read through tail end of last weeks and started this weeks but decided I should fly especially as DH has gone out and is likely to make a big mess in bathroom when he comes back (discovered a very leaky tap on our return - luckily the waste bin was underneath to catch the water :D)

    HHC anyone 130 - 2pm?
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Went mad this morning and moved all the furniture in the lounge and hoovered really thoroughly.

    Bathroom cleaned and kitchen swiped.

    Made a quiche for tonight.

Walked neighbour's dog as she is out for the day.

Listed some more things on ebay. Three items sold today so I am waiting for the okay to send them. I find it very time consuming - but that's probably because I'm new to it.

That's it for me for today!

I hope your arm isn't hurting too much LW.
Thanks; the burn isn't hurting any more (I bunged witch hazel on it fairly quickly after it happened) - it'll just be yet another scar on my arm, amongst many.:D

    Ionafan congrats.

Optimistic_mummy well done on getting the OU assignment done.:T I thought about doing an OU course, but can't really afford it, and with the awful brainfog I get these days, not sure I'd cope with doing it. Good idea on running the stuff past ytour DP, btw; sometimes Mr LW bends my ear about a problem at work, and it helps him see the solution. Not that I know a vast amount about SQL and shell-scripting (though I guess I'm learning):D but just talking it through to someone else helps you put your own thoughts in order.:o

Pixiedust I just tell myself that dog hair is clean dirt, and Dys0n it up as best I can manage.:o Hmm- dog hair in the dins.... erm.... *thinks* Just count it as extra fibre.:rotfl:

I was a good Wolf today - *fanfare* I cleaned the whole of the hall and lounge before I even got the netbook out of its case;:j hence me being later than normal logging on.;)

I have to go and make chocolate mousse now, though; promised it to Mr LW for tonight's pud.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
