    Hi there

Been MIA for a few days, but HAVE been flying! Helped sick friend again, then did a load of washing and ironing on Saturday, also in Saturday we washed the bungalow paintwork (outside), cleaned all the windows and tidied some pots, and OH has now painted most if it, just a bit left for tomorrow. Bless him, he hasn't stopped, and I took it easier yesterday, as still not 100% well after my chest infection, which was some weeks ago. I did some S&S'ing in bathroom and kitchen, did a meal in the slow cooker, and a bit of tidying and paperwork while he did the painting.

More tidying and DW today, and work for me. Am shattered now, so easy quiche and salad tonight.

Welcome to any newbies and those returning - I am still fairly new! Congratulations to Ionafan and her family too and good vibes to anyone feeling poorly or low. I want to do more paperwork in the morning, before work, then I'll be free to concentrate on more intensive cleaning later in the week, as friends coming next Monday for 5 days! Bye for now, R x

    Congratulations, ionafan. That's lovely news.

Since coming home from work I decluttered 2 mugs of tea and phoned talktalk. I'm now glad that I didn't put the gammon in the SC, as DH is at a bowles match and DS1 appears to have gone out. DS2 and I will have pitta breads for tea, which is one of his favourite meals (filled with cheese, cucumber and grated carrot). I'll amend my list and then do some kitchen stuff, now that I've recovered a bit.

I'm still here - but I think I got a bit trapped in the cobwebs I'm suppose to be clearing!

Still listing stuff on ebay - although I'll never catch up with pigpen! I wonder if any of us have ever bought anything from any of us on here without knowing?!

The weather's been great today so got three WM loads done and dried outside. It must be because I bought the Lakeland heated airer - haven't needed to use it since it arrived!

Not much else done as a large chunk of the the day has been taken up with a hospital appointment.
