I haven't bought crisps for weeks, the prices have went crazy.
Instead I bought a 2kg box of prawn crackers at the chinese supermarket for just £2.99. I fry a few handfuls off when we are watching a film or something.

I don't know if it the whole of Scotland but here in Fife our half price offers are:

Mull of Kintyre Extra Mature Scottish Cheddar(300g) - £1.49

    Scottish Baking Potatoes(loose) - £0.60/kilo

    McKechnie Jess Finest Scottish Haggis(454g) - £0.64

    McAllisters Scottish Oatcakes(300g) - £0.39

I have had the haggis before and although I would not buy it at full price, it is tasty enough and I usually get one when they are reduced.
  • Cheese offer just in time, just opened my last pack of sliced cheese!

Hmmm.... nothing worth buying here then. They're all processed, except the cucumber.
  • I miss the days of the enormous half-price weekends. :( I once managed to get about two weeks' worth of shopping for about £7 thanks to some well-timed offers...

That being said, definitely a cucumber for me. Can't believe how expensive they are in other supermarkets...

Same here. When I looked today I had to doublecheck there wasn't some national event I was forgetting! Bit early for St Andrew's Day and Hogmanay. :p
If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...
