Hi
I am scanning in my nans old photos. there are some in the old self adhesive ablumns, that have a sticky back and a plastic cover.
On one page the plastic cover has gone but I can't restick the photo back down. have tried using a pritstick but no good.
Any ideas before i ruin the rest of the album?

Yes, do her a favour and buy some new albums. The plastic in the coverings with eventually damage the photos beyond repair.0 -
Unfortunatley, she has early onset alzhimers and they are one of the few things she remembers.
The albums go back to 1970 so the haven't done badly so far.0 -
you can buy from Boots and I suppose most photo shops tiny little see through corners that stcik the photos down. There cheap id sat about a pound or so and will easily do the job.Mad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -
Bluetack?????A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Try double sided tape if the special photo-corners are not easy to find.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

I'd be reaching for the pritt stick. Not heard of these photo corners? I'm guessing they don't damage the photos, in which case I'd try these first. My grandmother wouldn't be happy with me replacing her albums alzheimers or not so I totally understand. Come to think of it I wouln't be very happy either!0

Please don't use prit stick, it will ruin the photos in the long term. You need a specialist photo glue/tape to prevent further deterioration. You're looking for something that is archival safe and acid and lignin free. You're best bet is to go to your local craft shop and seek their advice.0
