It's finally over!!

Well today is the day!

It's been a long 12 months but my dro ended today and today has marked the end of my past and the beginning of my future!!

It was a very hard decision and with the process I went through, taking 9 months with the CAB and then 12 months ago finding out my dro had been approved I couldn't imagine getting to this day! But it's finally here!!

Thank you to everyone on this board for all their help and advice! I will still be around to give advice from my experience to help others!

  • Well done you!! Must be a fantastic feeling and one I'm looking forward to experiencing myself next June when we make the final payment on our IVA. To not owe a penny to anyone will be wonderful indeed.
    Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
    And now the final frame
    Love is a losing game
  • Thanks! It is a great feeling but I've also had some very down days where I have struggled to get through the day and my friends mum hit the nail on the head last night....for the first time in many many years I have nothing to worry about! I'm sure I will adjust soon enough but god it's hard! Sounds so silly I know!

  • Brilliant, well done you :)))

Now for the long credit repair lol... I joined experian to check all defaults have been marked as settled or satisfied and all creditors changed it to show no outstanding debts were still existing.

Not all of mine had been changed on my credit file until I contacted them to request they did it.

I'm pretty surety still run a 30day free trial.
