worth contacting the venue to check their admission policy before getting their hopes up though

I checked this out on the website's FAQ and it states

    Parental guidance advised :D

Do you think these shows are suitable for 11/12 year olds? I know my DDs would LOVE it but not sure if it would be appropriate.

My girls are only 5 & 7 and love this film, I think it is rated a PG so would be fine for 11/12 year olds.

Brilliant find, hope they come. I've been to Singalonga Abba, Joseph and Sound of Music and they are great nights, lots of people get really dressed up for them.

When you have been to other shows are there some people who don't get dressed up?
I ordered my tickets before I realised about the extra 'fun' involved. :D
I'm not sure I could find anything appropriate for me, and my 12 yr old DS would probably disown me if I did.
Will I be out of place if I don't dress up?...:o

u don't have to and MANY people don't, so don't worry!

    i won't b dressing up!!!

    here's the info i found....

"You’d better shape up for Summer Nights of Greasemania, as the Sing-A-Long-A-Grease tour rolls into major cities all over the UK, giving everyone the chance to become a T-Bird or Pink Lady for the night.

Sing-A-Long-A -Grease invites you to experience the No1 Greatest Musical (* 100 Greatest Musicals: Channel 4), like never before. Enjoying the film on the big screen, you can feel just like the stars of the movie by singing along to the on-screen lyrics and even experiencing the famous prom dance-off by strutting your stuff in the aisles.

They will host free sing-a-long events on Friday nights, prior to each Grease Is The Word ITV1 transmission on Saturday nights. In the run-up to the grand finale of the TV show, the sing-along events will culminate in a final week at the Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Square, London - the home of the Sing-Along-A-Sound-Of-Music events.

The audience is very much encouraged to dress up and there will be prizes for the best costume at each event. A host will compere the three-hour evenings, starting with a vocal warm up, before song sheets are handed out, Grease goodie bags are opened and the truly unique performance gets underway."

    can't wait :)
