Are shops open next weekend?

in Shop but don't drop
Hi, everyone,
I am a student and had planned to dedicate Friday and Saturday to shopping... Can you please tell me if shops are supposed to be open next Friday (Good Friday) and Saturday?

    Shops will be open on good friday but it is a bank holiday so I think it will be Sunday trading hours. Saturday will be normal hours and Sunday they will be closed like Xmas day. xxx

    Sainsburys (Redditch) will be closed. I think this is same for all stores.
