Help me find cheap eyelet curtains

Hi all, I am currently living in a rented house and the living room and my sons room both have curtains which are less than paper thin. They are on a pole type fitting not a traditional curtain rail. Does anyone know how I can get two pairs for the living room and a pair for my sons room reasonably cheap? We went through last winter with it like this but don't think I can cope with another one, not to mention the fact its probably not doing the heating bills much good.
Any ideas?
Thanks x

I got three pairs of lined eyelet curtains in Primarni for £10 per pair. I thought that they might have been a bit carp but they are really nice. The eyelet bit for me is no good so I am going to alter them to have heading tape. Also, Dunelm Mill have had some good sales on recently - some stuff 70% off. Got some nice ones for my mum from there - £120

try your local charity shops you - its a bit pot luck , but you can get some steals in there, if you time it right.
I know some of you will be thinking that charity shops will havesmelly old moth ridden, fusty, mouldy ones; as i say its pot luck i've seen contemporary prints and shades.
Another thing you might wantto consider is just buying thermal lining for your windows -its good and efficient and can be removed for the warmer months
good luck and keep cosy0 -

Thanks for the help all, just been offered a pair on freecycle so hopefully they will do for sons room. Just need to convince my hubby the outlay of curtains for downstairs will be made up by the savings in heating bills lolMummy to two beautiful girls and one gorgeous boy.0

I have the lagoon version of these in my son's room. They are great for the price.

I have brought two eyelet curtains from curtains4u.co.uk as I was looking for long length curtains and no other website was offering 108 " drop and received my curtains within 3 days, high street retailer was selling same brand for almost on double price.0

I'm not sure if I can post the name on here, but I got a pair of fantastic eyelet curtains off eBay, 66x72 for £30.
PM me if you'd like the sellers name, they do alot of curtains.
I'm not familiar with the fitting you mentioned, but could you maybe pop some curtain rings on there? That way you could get pencil pleat/tape curtains.0
