I recently bought some wellies. They are the normal size shoe what I buy (11) but they're slightly too big. Returning them isn't an option.
Is there something you can buy to "pad out" shoes so that they become a tight fit?
If not I guess I will just use something like an old t-shirt or something.

You could try some thick insoles (available from shoe shops or chemists etc) or some thick socks might do the trick.0

I second the insoles suggestion. I bought a pair of those memory foam ones when Aldi had them and couldn't get into my shoes when I put them in so I'm sure they will work!0

How about a pair of wellie socks - they seem quite thick and bulky (Home Bargains have had them for £2.99 a pair) and may take up a little of the spare room.0

wear 2/3 pairs of socks should do it.#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Cut insoles from carpet if your feet are rattling about in them.
The insoles from mountaineering/outdoor pursuits shops last absolutely ages and put a spring in one's step.0
