moving house in a month and have some mature shrubs etc to take with us to the new house, i need to find somewhere which sells large flower pots cheaper at least 12inches wide or perhaps i could just get some cheap buckets to put them in, its only for the move they wont be in there for too long.

thanks

Why don't you get some hessian sacks and put the shrub roots in there instead?

Not sure if they'd be big enough, may suit smaller plants..........

Morrisons supermarkets have the black flower buckets from displays. They sell them for 99p for 8. But a lot of the time they have more in each pack. We've had as many as 24 for 99p. Different sizes. Some are deeper than others.

Good for growing spuds in as well!

Just drill a few holes in the bottom.

Have you tried asking at the garden centre? I asked for a big pot and they directed me to a big pile of them and told me to help myself.
