  • Hi everyone. Sorry if I emphasise what you may already be doing ... remember to contact Financial Ombudsman Service to request their assistance on dealing with this. That organisation is designed to help you, so don't struggle alone or keep banging your heads on brick walls with these Debt collection agency numpties (who don't know what the law is most of the time) when they keep breaching the regulations and rules. It's also very useful to be able to refer to documented reports to FOS, if and when you send a formal complaint to Office of Fair Trading, regarding the DCA's fitness to hold a Consumer Credit Licence.
Get these organisations in your corner ASAP, and make sure if you tell the DCA you'll contact these regulatory bodies that you DO (even a short phone call to FOS ot OFT is worth it) ~ just keep records or copies of letters sent or received.
You'll be surprised just how quickly things start to happen in the correct manner, when their Consumer Credit Licence possession is examined and under threat, after complaints to OFT and FOS!
  • Thanks I havent heard anything but will be sure to that asasp
  • You haven't heard anything, which means they haven't got anything. if they had they would be on you like a shot.

Just keep everything filed away and wait.
