Where is the cauldron situated in the Olympic stadium?

I'm seated in block 119 - is that anywhere near the cauldron?

Yes - I think you're right beside it. I'm in block 220 tomorrow morning, and I've just been looking to see where it is myself. As far as I can tell, the cauldron is at the southern end of the stadium.

If you walk around the ground level tier you can see the flame through a glass window. The flame is in restricted areas so no ticket no entry. But at least you can see it.

You will need a ticket for the stadium to see it though.

If you go to block 124 well before the game you can get your picture taken in front of the cauldron. We have done this for both the Olympics and Paras. You do need to be one of the first people in though, when it gets too busy or looks like people might block the aisle they turn you away. I'm pretty sure it's 124, if not its one very near there, but it will be obvious when you get near, it will be the only one that people queue up to visit.
