Is it any good, and will it record one whilst you are watching another?

No it wont record and let you watch another channel for that you need a twinn tuner one, you can get a dual (brand Asda) twinn tuner for £80 from asda.

i have one it works great, you can also watch a recording and record at the same time.

As said before this is a single tuner so you can only watch/record one station at a time, you need two tuners to record one and watch another station or for the ones that record 2 programmes together.

I have one and it works very well but the software has been updated via broadcast so if it comes with the original software it may be more flakey. There will be no more software broadcasts as the manufacturing company has gone bust.

I've got a dual from asda as well and its a good buy.
Dont get the goodmans, its essentially the same machine but rebadged and £20 dearer.
If you do a search on this forum and also on digitalspy you'll get a lot of good advice for using and upgrading(quite easily) this machine HTH:D
