Just found out about hours cut

Was shocked to return to work last thursday after the summer holidays to find out my hours had been reduced to 12 hours from 27 and a half. I work as a classroom assistant in the NEELB, just think it is so unfair that they only let the school know the day before we were due back..

Are you a general classroom assistnat, or are you funded by the LEA to look after a particular child? If it is the latter, it sounds as though the supported hours have been cut.0

Did you have a permanent contract which specifically states 27.5 hours a week?' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
