Im paying back 2 debts 1 of a old credit card from 5yrs ago have like £1000 and £270 odd on a car insurance which i cancelled last year!
I know i dont want a banger i just want some financial help to get a reliable car

Reliable cars dont need to cost 16k, reliable ones can be bought for much less but at end of the day its your choice.

Btw im paying back £50 each week to clear each debt everyweek without fail

So you want a loan yet you have £1270 in debts but only paying £50 towards them, surely you can afford to throw more at the debts.
  • I was putting down 1000 down as deposit from my savings which i pay £50 a week into a barclays isa automatically

    Thanks again everyone

    £250 a month for 60 months is £15k. So is this a 0% deal?

The thing you can rely on a brand new £16k Corsa to do is depreciate like a house brick.

    Also ask yourself.

What happens if I lose my job.
What happens if I get seriously ill.
What happens if I want a mortgage.

    Etc Etc

Because thats what lenders will be asking themselves.

Have you seen the price of diesel ?
Do you do the miles to warrant a diesel ?

    From Vauxhall site:
Corsa 1.2i 16v VVT 5-speed (not basic, well up the range)
    Deposit: £1,000
    (48) x £ 224:59
    Final RRP: £12,530:00

    Google for Vauxhall Motors FIRST!

Pleas do not get yourself into debt over a car purchase. I did the same a long time ago, whilst in the army. It took me many years to get out of trouble and it destroyed my relaionship with some of the family.

Clear your debts, buy what you can afford for now. I have been there, it damages you in many ways and it damages those close to you. Build up your CR.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.
