Cable Television Fines

Am currently reclaiming my bank charges and it occured to me that i have also been lumped with numurous late payment charges from virgin media (formally telewest) of ten quid everytime i dont pay a bill fully, wondered if this could work along the same lines as the bank stuff with regards to getting cash back or whether they are allowed to be charging that much

I wouldn't think you could do that-after all you're paying for a service you have been using so they are perfectly entitled to add extra on for you not paying the full bill. You wouldn't expect Tesco to let you off paying the full amount of your shopping would you?

Same law as used with bank's charges. Just follow banking charges guides but change them as to Virgin Media.

They have to prove that they have encored a cost of £10 or higher.

Do you have some speedign fines you can claim back as well ??

As for the Virgin £5 non DD charge why not phone them and question it .. ask for retentions and get the charges removed, get a better deal and bobs your uncle the MSE way instead of sitting there seeing what you can claim back why not put as much effort into finding what you can avoide being charged on ???

I came out £17 a month better off with a better package and above all no non DD payment and it only took a 5 minute phone call.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
