Cheap corded phone - showing duration of calls?

Hi - I used to have one years ago and found it very useful.

I am now on the anytime scheme with BT so all calls under 1hr are free - but I chat too much with certain friends and sister and go over!

if I could buy a cheap corded phone that told me how long the call had been I could ring off and re-dial.

Anyone know of a cheap one at all - there are so many online I do not know where to start - and hopefully I can pick up a cheap one on Ebay.

I am not sure which one show time. But I suggest you get a kitchen timer instead. At least that 'beep' when time is up and you don't need to constantly keep an eye on it.

Thanks - yes I shall have to try that.
No idea which phone I had before but I found it really handy showing the duration of the call on the LCD screen - and it cannot have been too expensive.
