Tax Rebate Check

Hi,
Just a quick question: How can I a) check whether I am due or b) ensure that I am in the best position to receive a tax rebate?
I have no reason to suspect that I am due anything, but the staggeringly high number of friends picking them up left right and centre has made me wonder whether I can check whether I have anything due, and wonder whether HMRC might just be missing me as I have moved house every year for the past 5 years.
Many thanks.

I'm bumping this post back up because I'm wandering the same, and also sick of seeing friends getting rebates for no apparent reason!0

Post P60 figures and someone can check.
However unless you have moved jobs recently or have more complicated tax affairs, a refund is unlikely.0 -
They must be due these rebates or they wouldn't get 'em
Check your own tax records, give HMRC a ring.
Tax is personal, it doesnt really rely on where you live.
If you have a work uniform with a logo on it youcan claim £12 a year for washing it yourself, if that is any help, you can claim this back for 4 years.
It amazes me how little the british population knows about a basic tax system. If someone was taking £100s of £s off me every month I sure as hell would want to know why and if the amount was correct.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
