I'm very tempted (especially with the 20% code) but I wonder if the soles are as thick and heavy as they look in the picture? If they are, then perhaps it would make it difficult to wear with carpeted floors?

I've put a pair in my basket but would like some comments from fans of these slippers first, before I press the button!

Go for it is my advice! They are a heavy duty (ie boot quality) sole, so it doesnt matter if like me you sometime nip in the garden etc and forget to change your shoes. We have both carpets and laminates and I have only once caught the toe of my slipper on the carpet. They really are a little bit of personal luxury if you want to treat yourself.
    lovin' this site!

I wear a pair of EMU boots as slippers so to speak indoors on carpets because I always have cold feet hehe

I also have UGG slippers that have a thick sole and I haven't had any bother with them,i'd defo buy them with the code :)
  • Anyone received theirs yet? I'd be interested to see whether they are real Emu slippers.

I've ordered 2 pairs one for me & one for hubby (no ones going to see him in them & as long as it keeps him warm & heating off thats fine).
  • Just received mine and they are fab. Certainly appear real to me. The boots I bought are also a great bargain but I wish I hadn't ordered before the 20% code appeared!

Many thanks - two pairs ordered with the 20% off code!:j
  • Mine arrived - compared against the ones I'm currently wearing and they seem fine, so quite pleased and they make a great Christmas gift.
