Bargain Co-op instore bakery reductions

There is a Co-op in another estate where I live. I popped in there before visiting the chippy. The instore bakery products were like 10p for a large bloomer, 12p for two danish pastries, 10p for 4 6 inch baguettes and 8p for 5 donuts.
My parents have moved house yesterday and bought 6 items for 52p for their freezers

We live 5 minutes walk from a co-op and try and check the reduced shelf every day.
Not just for bread products but meat etc. We recently got a large fresh chicken for £1.35. 6 packs of 2 fresh chicken breasts for .60p each, Ham joint down from £4 to £1, Richmond fresh sausages from £3 to £1, etc

I recently said on another thread that I find my best bargains at the Co-op. Unfortunately I have further to travel (next town) to a Co-op supermarket so don't get there as often as I would like. In our town we just have a small Co-op and. therefore, not the same bargains. Lucky you on your finds!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

They normally start reducing the bakery prices in our Co-op about 30 minutes before they close.Stompa0

Mine is only a small Co-op really, so small they only have 2 tills on the ciggie counter but its timing the reductions.
Go around 11.30 am or 3.00 pm and see if they have reduced anything. Most reduced items go quickly though especially as the staff get first dibs.
