    Looks like you want the penny and the bun. I wouldnt touch this piece of business with a bargepole. Its a complaint just waiting to happen.

    Never mind that, how the hell would you pay the mortgage if the commission suddenly dropped?

    OP, lenders 'generally' in the loosest sense will use 100% of basic salary and 2/3rds ish of on target commission.

    I think conrad said, this looks do-able somewhere in the uk. Please pay a fee and get someone to do it for to you otherwise you get disheartened at the rejections.

    Oh your local Simon.

    Incorrect on both counts on the employment front I'm afraid.

    All I will say is that in his line of work his commission is consistent he doesn't have to go looking for sales they are handed to him on a plate. His payslips for the last x number of years would show this. It's not a lot different to being self employed really.

    sounds like a financial adviser in a bank.
