I think your right, some of them are a nightmare:eek:

Thats definately me, but plenty of time for rest when it's over;)

They have been my godsend, mixing them with Naproxen and luckily I've used paracetamol as one of my 8 each time:T:T

I have had major neck and shoulder ache since this glitch started, can't sleep properly at night as can't get comfy - thinks its where im leant over my laptop for at least 8 hours a day, and lugging bags of goodies back and forth from the car. I bought myself some deep heat cream and can't quite reach the spot, so thought i would get some spray as would be easier - can't get that right either:eek::eek: i have asked the person i look after to rub some in for me - but she just looks at me like im stupid ( i think she may well be right) also asked a couple of staff members where the person i look after goes to day centre - and they can't do it for me (not allowed to administer medication !!!!! flipping PC gone mad :mad::mad:) So really looking forward to getting home so someone can help me :):)
Sorry i should have said good morning to all you wonderful people, i really enjoy being part of this happy little (well maybe not) group, its just such a shame that HC and Westie arn't here to enjoy it with us:( If your reading this hope your having a brilliant time and can't wait to see the pics. Oh I really should go to bed but I have another 50 mins before I can input my £120 womble and another 1h10 before I can input my own shop :o

I'm not tired either! I have a consultant appt in the morning, a routine one about my PCOS which I have been trying to cancel but I can't get through and the hospital reception is useless as usual. It's an unnecessary appt which is a waste of their time and mine as the scan I had shows everything's ok, the only reason I'd go is to try and get a free doctor's note but I doubt it'll happen, he's probably more likely to charge me than my own GP surgery, he's a very old-school bow-tie wearing consultant, can't say I like him much so I try to avoid going to see him if I can manage it.

So what do I do now? I'm not going but I can't stay up all night just to call in the morning, I know I won't want to drag myself out of a comfy warm bed just to try calling again, the appt's at 10:30am so it's not as if they can offer it to someone else, shall I just make out the appt letter never arrived?
If you can't get through & the reception won't help I think I would pretend it hadn't come, its not like you didn't try
If its really an unimportant appt I would do that. I know what you mean I have to attem sooo many appt and there really pointless. I get no further and gain nothing from them. Just a total waste of time and money. I made out I didn't get an appt letter till 3 days after my appt but I had a really good reason. I just found out that i lost £500 from my PayPal account so was on the phone to them and my bank the whole day.

I know its too late for this but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Dont just not turn up. APpointments are like gold dust and that appointment cant be given to someone else (cant you tell I deal with a lot of do not attends?)

If you cant get hold of reception, try the consultant secretary who you can reach via the hospital switchboard

People dont seem the realise the impact of just not turning up for appointments :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sometimes it is about comfort and expediency and helping people to get the best of something within their individual comfort zones, not necessarily just about what is legal/enforceable.
Oh absolutely. I too recommend people do whatever they can to stay under the radar. I just like advising people where they stand just in case they get pulled up. :)
