Wife just went into asda and used a couple of vouchers. 2 transactions one was £14 and one was £30. Lady was ok with the first one and then the second one said im going to call a SV and the SV said its fine. She then said ill call another SV over. The SA was really rude.

The duty manager said to my wife on the phone (as she called to make a complaint) that Head Office called today and told us to enforce the £100 a month limit per household. They know that the software is not matching the price match right.

The lady said to my wife.. How strange you and others buy the chocolate lol.

I reckon its gonna start getting harder now.
  • I have just been and used a £18 APG from a £12 spend (it came to £20 something but I had a £9 apg). I used it on 2 more conditioners and a few other things that I know T's have on offer and asda don't. My new shop came to £20 something and the cashier took the voucher without even batting her eye. She just needed to get it over rode which the supervisor did without even looking.

So not all are trouting so bite the bullet like I did and just go for it. I did expect a trouting tbh cos the apg came out far larger than I anticipated (the new one should be under £10) I had the phone app ready to show them just in case,

How can they possibly enforce the £100 per household at the till? Are you sure yuo don't embellish tales a little?
  • I wouldn't let it put me off just makes me remember to be sure they stay below £10 as best I can.
I used my biggie on baby stuff for my cousin, she's got college for another 2 yrs and is trying to decide if she'll say on or go out to work so just try to help her when I can. Is it wrong that I hope it doesn't glitch or if it does it's not too high? :o

Thanks, I might just try buying something from the George dept with it.

    Tenth Anniversary
I changed my mind and I am not going to A

I rode my bike today for the first time in a couple of months

    I did 5 miles

Despite a gel seat, I feel like my bottom and a size 12 safety boot have had a rather uncomfortable meeting

Dinner and a hot bath for me I think :)

You need a kick up the ar*e and get down to A's:p:D

Every voucher over £10 a SV has to come over and check it. I guess they only have a few SV so the chances is that they will remember you.

I dont care, Im going back in 3 hours and I hope that trout is on cos ill give her a mouthful. OMG the way she talked to my wife. Even the customers said your being very rude to my wife.

Remember this is just one asda. but the duty manager said they know its on the net lol.

Stange thing is that I did 2 transactions at another till and the lady was really nice.

    hi everyone:)

not posted for a few days. Things have been a bit manic here:(. will do a quick update later if I get time. Have tried skipping but had to resort to leaping instead!

Re the troutings that everyone's so worried about.....me included before I went shopping today. There is a way to prove that vouchers are yours if they start banging on about fraudulent vouchers. Not had to try this yet but it might work

Will only work on smartphones/I phones.
    1. use the aAsda app to check receipt and have voucher sent to your email

    2. If you are trouted you have the email on your phone to prove the voucher was sent to you via the app.

The results aren't on the app so they can't see what products you had to buy to get it. If you want to see detailed comparisons you can still enter the details on the website to see the full results.

This works, I have tried it today. Had my email on my phone all ready just in case but my £12 odd voucher wasaccepted no problems.

I think it's a good idea to cover yourself if you do get trouted. What does everyone else think?
I really have to shoot now but hope to catch up with you all laters

    xxx

But they have never checked mine over £10 and I've done 4 different A's with them:o
