decided to go to asda and wish i had not as got trouted  she checked my recipt then said someone has made a mistake you cant get a £13.00 odd voucher from a £16 shop i said i checked it and i did she then looked at my old recipt and said someone has put a manafacturers coupon through wrong they have added a 0 on the end it should have been £1.40 not £14.00 you only paid a few pound for the shop i cant let you use this and called supervisor who called manager i had receipt for the old voucher it was from a £130.00 shop (womble not mine) which i showed manager and explained that there price checks show on the recipt as manafacturers voucher he goes do they, scanned mine in then looked and said oh your right thats ok then and put it all through, :T
was ok in the end but will avoid getting vouchers over £10 and will go in at different times to avoid same staff,,0 -

You have up to 2 months if you don't print it for a while so that's an option
I think you have 28 days to print it and a further 28 or 30 days from then to spend itI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Works! I bought them in bulk for the husband, it's the only hair gel he uses!

Just spent that £10.50 voucher in A......quite an embarrassing experience! I went to the SS tills and everything went through fine, the cashier scanned the voucher no problem (without marking the receipt..) but the machine ran out of paper!!! I waited around for ages for him to fix it, calling over other people, until he finally worked out how to reprint my receipt!
Two questions:
1 - Will this re-print of the receipt work on the price gaurantee?
2 - More of a cheeky question, but because the voucher was over £10 and not marked, can I use it again by re-printing it and showing the original receipt?!
Hope this helps someone! Will most my next shop which was trying out other various shampoo products in 2 and half hours time!
Thats the kind of question you do not want to ask here.0 -
jumblejack wrote: »Do not reuse. The vouchers are traceable through the receipt details on them. They will know if the same one is redeemed more than once. There are cameras on tills and Ss tills so why would you even consider it.
There will no doubt be someone who will come along (he that I will not name) and say go for it but it is you who is risking your neck and reputation.
If in doubt, do without.
Are you then saying in theory it's OK to reuse this voucher then but more a question or morals?
Vouchers over £10 are not unique therefore normally get checked more closely. If no-one has signed the receipt, it's not traceable therefore should in theory be re-usable?
Not saying i'm going to do it, just want some clarity?
