Im sure theres a curry recepie from slimming world mentioned in a previous thread, does anyone remember it?

I seem to think it involved a tin of mushy peas, tin of beans and tin of chopped toms plus other bits and bobs.

    I'll try and find it...

    Here you go:

    Mushy Pea Curry

The sauce is made with 2 tins mushy peas, 1 tin baked beans and 1 tin tomatoes, curry spices (I used curry powder, coriander, cumin, garlic powder and chilli powder) and blitz till smooth. Then stir fry veg and meat, stock cube and add the sauce, simmer for 20 mins and voila. Makes a ton of sauce but I freeze it in portions for later.

Unfortunately, I didn't note the OP, so apologies. I think it might have been Debsjc? Or maybe Jumblejack..? Could be wrong though.

I have a wonderful idea of how to cut the posts on this thread by 75% its easy From 5pm today no more postings on the subjects of Wine Ketchup Shampoo and Conditioner especialy long lists of APGs If any one does want info they can read back on the previous 250 pages. I am not expecting much responce but I thought it would be a good idea

Thats the whole point of this particular thread money saving & bargains & this particular thread allows chat bonding & support as well

    btw r e s p o n s e = response ;)

A miserable couple with a trolley FULL of stuff that all compared and an iphone checking all the posts on MSE who wouldn't speak.

Did they blank you when you spoke to them?

I understand some people are nervous when meeting people for the first time, but a pleasant hello isn't hard.

Yes thats it Thank you! couldnt find it on MSE but found something similar on google

    http://slimmerblog.co.uk/recipes/curry-dishes/mushy-pea-curry/

I remember at the time showing my OH a picture, because I thought it looked quite nice, and told him what was in it, that was a mistake as he said 'mushy peas...and beans?...in a curry? (in a Peter Kay 'Garlic Bread' kind of way:rotfl:)

Very impressed with your organisation pennysaved!
