They are usually on the bottom shelf (so easy to miss) close to the jams etc.

  • I think it is very very difficult to short cut this one. Easily transportable/explainable no-brainers found on here get posted on Grabbit so that everyone can benefit. The problem with jtd/apg glitches like this is that there are so many variables, so many unpredictable bits and a lot is trial and error. On the whole, the 11+ mob take it on the chin if it goes tits up and move on to pick up the next glitch - win some, lose some, but overall win lots :D

If you try and do an easy guide, apart from making it easy for A, some folk get very vocal if it doesn't work 100% first time. The thread posted on Grabbit yesterday was a good example of that - best of intentions but full of pitfalls because nothing was mentioned about the mechanics of an APG shop.

I think to really expoit this stuff you do need to take time to read the thread (including first post), understand how the various store comparison promotions work, know what to do if you can't get your planned shop (oos etc). If you are a newbie and skim reading, you may get very unstuck.

Possible the only short cut is to copy a shop list posted up here to the last item - you can't highlight the "glitch" item because it is the entire shop that is the glitch.

Peeps aren't unhelpful when they say read the thread and try a couple of small shops first - those that do this seem to prosper the best and for the longer term.

    Brilliant post :T

It shows it's not as easy as it seems with so many regulars getting it wrong.

Although I just think they're stupid

My hubby a software engineer reckons This glitch is not about the price of red sauce or shampoo, there is a glitch in the software that works out the 3 for 2 and when they figure that out. It will all be fixed.

So be easy fix if they ever find it ! :rotfl:

that's pretty much correct as a former IT bod myself this is a coding error, altho the tommy sauce is not on 3 for 2:D

we cancelled ours over a year ago but still use the box to watch free channels dont get all the ones on free view my boys are annoyed we dont get dave but i wont replace it while it is working..

Thank you :) off I go to cancel!
We have free veiw in the tv so the channels that are not on sky we can always try to watch through that it's just such a pain having to spend ages trying to get a watchable picture but I'm sure we can manage it for the odd channel that the sky doesn't have

we have lots of channels not the sky ones but at least 50 others that are on freeview we have a freeview box and ariel on another tv and we get less channels on that as no signal where we are..
