If it's a brand called "reece", I have no idea:rotfl:
I picked up the Elnett tonight - i got the pink band though as someone had posted that it worked ~( extra strength 200ml b/c 566053). Will only be able to do my receipt in the morning though, as I can't stay up til midnight.
And on that note, I'm pooped. G'night all xx

Good morning all - DD starts secondary school today feels like she is so grown up all of a sudden (where have the years gone).
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - love it - I look forward to seeing your morning postRootedNomad wrote: »I think it is very very difficult to short cut this one. Easily transportable/explainable no-brainers found on here get posted on Grabbit so that everyone can benefit. The problem with jtd/apg glitches like this is that there are so many variables, so many unpredictable bits and a lot is trial and error. On the whole, the 11+ mob take it on the chin if it goes tits up and move on to pick up the next glitch - win some, lose some, but overall win lots
If you try and do an easy guide, apart from making it easy for A, some folk get very vocal if it doesn't work 100% first time. The thread posted on Grabbit yesterday was a good example of that - best of intentions but full of pitfalls because nothing was mentioned about the mechanics of an APG shop.
I think to really expoit this stuff you do need to take time to read the thread (including first post), understand how the various store comparison promotions work, know what to do if you can't get your planned shop (oos etc). If you are a newbie and skim reading, you may get very unstuck.
Possible the only short cut is to copy a shop list posted up here to the last item - you can't highlight the "glitch" item because it is the entire shop that is the glitch.
Peeps aren't unhelpful when they say read the thread and try a couple of small shops first - those that do this seem to prosper the best and for the longer term.
Well said I totally agree :beer:0 -

Hi everyone, I'm just checking in, haven't been on in a while.
Hope you're all well, I'm off to catch up on about a million pages - before I do though, something very odd happened to my DH in Ts earlier (yes stranger than normal!) the self service till came up with a message saying "is this price correct" or similar when buying cereal!
He tapped on the yes on screen, but has anyone else seen this? It sounds very odd!0 -
I have the answer!!! :rotfl:
My Cunning Plan
So what do you think? (hides behind the sofa scared stiff!!) :rotfl:
Come out from behind the sofa TM6 .............. and don't be discouraged by the replies you've had. You took the time to consider the 'problem' when it was suggested tongue in cheek I would sayand came up with a suggestion, so well done. Howwever, the replies may have shown you why offering the information on a plate is frowned upon. We all work hard to understand the workings of the price check systems of S, A & T and working out glitches for the best return. It is time consuming to keep up with the thread, but it is worth it
It is not unreasonable to expect newbies and others to do some work by reading much of the thread to try to understand the glitches and the pitfalls, which are many. And taking your time to do this really pays off in the end as it will result in less failures when putting it all into action
I hope that you can understand the stance taken by most of this thread, and would invite you to sit back, read, and read some more, and then ask a few questions if necessary, as well as contributing to the community we have here. You will benefit from it, I can assure you :j :j

cosmic-dust wrote: »Vitamin Glitch in Sainsbury's rather than in Waitrose, Waitrose too expensive!
Sainsbury's 3 for 2 on vitamins. Cheapest found so faron mys:
87p @ Sainsburys
£1.15 @ Asda
0.87 x 2 = £1.74 divide by 3 = 58p
These seem to compare on MYS maybe someone from the morning crew can confirm:
More expensive vitamins:
We really have to be careful with this one as Tesco, Sainsbury's and Waitrose are all doing 3 for 2 on vitamins just now. Asda seem to be doing 3 for £10 on some vitamins, check and double check before doing this one. Some vitamins really expensive to do on a huntch.
Now I really am going to bed.
Cosmic dust, what a huge amount of work compiling this list:T:A
I think you are the strongest contender for launching the next thread which may be sooner than expected if the current rate continues......:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
