My bag of elderberries and hips made a lot of jelly. The labelled ones are for gifting. The rest are for my personal pantry ;)
They look fab Jumblejack, lucky people to get those as a gift. When is your cookery book coming out?

Hi all, not been on for a while, just a quick peek now and again. I'm so far behind, you're loads of pages in on a new thread, and I've only seen the last three pages  Still, back in UK tomorrow lunchtime. I've had a lovely relaxing week in France staying with a friend who lives here. I'll do a proper catch up later, but until then hugs :D

    Hello Love,
really glad you had a good time in France - would just like to say a huge

    THANK YOU

The email you sent me, helped me out big time, it was very much appreciated.

I raise my glass to you :beer::beer: xxxx

Lol - we were coming back from Asda this morning and there was a house right next to Asda that was for sale. Mmm I said - OH laughed and said "you would never be out of Asda if we lived there" then my dd said "and we could go wombling every night mummy! ":rotfl:
I really hope that they add this as potential selling benefit.

Me: Hello, could you tell me some more about the house you have for sale on Main Road?
Estate Agent: Oh yes, well it is a lovely cosy property, two-ish bedroom, one reception with adjoining small kitchen, outside toilet, shared bathroom with number 21. May require some light modernisation.
Me: Mmm. Modernisation, you say. Outside toilet, you say. I don't really think it's for me, but thank you anyway.
Estate Agent: It's next door to a large Asda.
    Me: I'll take it.

    :D

check for any holes. block them. then use bait. you can buy it in b and q or wilkinsons. 33 pound:eek: could cost a fiver. Just remember to wear gloves. keep away from pets and kids. just check regularly, you'll see the bait eaten.

The mouse poison you can buy for around £3 in T's works fine.
We had a visitor a few weeks ago who had discovered Purdy's dog food in the broom cupboard and had been helping himself by gnawing through the sack. He'd also used several carrier bags which he'd shredded to make a little nest.
I had to fill the poison tray twice, then the third one didn't get eaten so he's obviously no longer with us ;)

I had a tube of mouse poison in the garden shed, but we obviously have suicidal mice around here because when I lifted it off the shelf I saw that it had been gnawed through and was empty
I'm always seeing them in the garden.....comes with living in the countryside I suppose....and they are just the little tiny field mice so they don't really bother me that much. Just don't fancy sharing my food with them ;)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
