I am catching up, currently on page 58. I haven't posted in a while, you guys do enough talking without me joining in. But I had to tell you all about my shop earlier.
OH wanted to go high street and I wanted to go A's. So we went our separate ways and he said he'd pick me up, but I had to take LO with me. Thing is this is my 3rd day in a row at SS tills, manned always too busy and the same guy was on duty again!! He had already commented on my large apgs of roughly £10 and tonights are £14 and £18. Luckily though he is young and seems nice and doesn't scrutinize receipts.
I finished my shop and went to have a womble with 2yr old and shopping in trolley. Must've looked like a dozy mare that had forgotten where she'd parked. Stopped where my OH usually parks and spoke to a lovely lady that offered my LO a lolly, I accepted..thinking she meant a lollipop. Then she got out her shopping and opened a box of del monte orange ice lollies!! I couldn't believe it, the absolute generosity of some people, she was lovely. I wished I had a big bottle of ketchup to give her, but I didn't buy any today.
My OH turned up and whilst I was putting the LO in the car and shopping in the boot, my other 11yr old DD jumped out of the car and scouted for receipts of her own. Later at home the first one she checked gave her £7.81 :j lucky beggar, incase it helps this was the lucky womble...

ive had one over £20 and ive tried all day to get it lower. slowly done it. the one im waiting to do should be £12 ish and its blooming broke. still nice to calm down a bit till 6am. thanks for info

The shopping was paid for using 2 APGs and cash. One for £30+ and one for £12+. The lad on the till took them without batting an eye lid.

The only time I've had trouble using a £10+ APG has been late in the evening when the night staff are on. They won't take them unless the bar codes match.
  • Had a trip to A this morning and bought 4 ProV and 2 SP COnditioner along with other bits. Thought I was out of luck as no SP conditioner but when I bent low a box was right at the back! All great!!

Went in this evening to get milk and the box of SP still sitting intact with only the two spaces from my bottles this morning. I can't believe there are no other friends of Martin chasing this here! Tried my luck on hair dye.

Jammie Dodgers are a good comparison as A are dearer than T.
  • I think I need to lie down in a dark room, this glitching carry on :D is hard work :D done for the night

  • Good evening all,

had a nice day out and about town. :) also bumped into some friendly faces:wave::wave:

Thanks a lot to the OP of the shampoo and the smarties who sussed out how the glitch works. My thanks button was nowhere to be found early this morning.

I now have wine, shampoo and TK :):) the only down side is that my price check kept saying "receipt details not found".
