How much do you have to earn each week to get NI class one credits? This question is related to part time working.

You really need to be looking at Lower Earnings Limit (LEL) if you are in employment. The current figure is £107 a week, provided that you earn at least this amount each week you will be treated as if you are paying national insurance though you will not actually pay untill earnings go above £146 the Primary Threshold.0
