Possible "win" from Veet?

I received an email but not sure if it's legit or if anyone else got the same email? It says:

Hi Anne-Marie. I hope you’re well.

I am just getting in touch on behalf of Veet to firstly thank you for voting on Veet’s Britain’s Greatest Legs Facebook Competition. And secondly, to show our appreciation for voting we would love to send you a customised Veet umbrella.

Please may you respond to this message within 7 days to confirm you received the email and with your preferred postal address and I’ll be sure to send over your prize.

I'm not sure if it's really a "win" as such. More like a freebie, I guess? :rotfl:

I've just received exactly the same email and unfortunately I replied with my address details before checking the comp out.

I've searched on MSE but cannot find it, I did spot a post from another MSE'r saying they had won a summer hamper or similar.

I've looked at their FB page and there is a comp running for best legs, but I can't work out if it's ended yet. I cannot see from any of the FB posts that I have liked or shared them so I am at a bit of a loss as to where this originated!

I won the hamper and was a bit confused about where it had come from too. I couldnt' see it on MSE, but I had liked the Veet page and wouldn't have done it if I hadn't entered a comp I sent my address and had an email back saying my prize would be there within 14 days. I'll let you all know when it arrives! At the end of the day, all they've got is my address and that's freely avaliable in the phonebook and online anyway!

I won vouchers from this and had an email yesterday too. But, I remember entering this one and it is genuine. They had a comp for submitting the best veet'ed legs and then there were prizes also for those that voted for the winner.

It's this comp here - so thanks Chelsea1969 :beer:
