Was worth it, just to point out this is a re-gas & does not come with the antibacterial clean. Was told i didn't need it anyway as the air coming out didn't smell:rotfl: so clue there!
I was having probs with the steering so they jacked the car up & looked into that for me as well. Seems i need some tracking done, only when i get the front wheels changed. No pushing their services, if anything they were rushed of their feet.
Anyway, for me a cracking deal
No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

I too had mine done after seeing the deal on HUKD... highly recommended. I was about to pay £50 elsewhere for this service so this is a bargain.
No pressure to do anything else at all. Great friendly service. Takes more like 45 mins than an hour but splitting hairs there.
The process is drain out old oil and gas, check for leaks, new oil in, UV dye in (to check for leaks later if any problems), new gas in, job done.
Oh and two things:
1. Even if you don't use aircon in winter... this isn't something that lasts a few months, should last a few years... and if you wait until Spring to get it done then they will likely have no offers on / charge more as there will be lots of demand coming up to "summer"... so better to get it done now IMHO....
2. You should use your air con often, even in winter. As well as being good for demisting in winter, using it regularly also stops it smelling and keeps the system fresh, lubricates the rubber seals etc...
Great deal though, miss it, miss out (and no I don't work for them
) A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

If your air-con is working properly, there is no need to waste money each year having this done.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm confused by your post... are you disagreeing with my post?
In which case, I didn't say to get it done every year, as you clearly highlighted....
Very strange...A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was just highlighting that you don't need to get it done every year....as some large chain garages would have us believe.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Def agree, not got mine done since bought the car years 6 ago!. Just realised with the few really hot days we had the aircon was not ice cold, hence assumed needed re-gassing!.
Was going to wait till after the winter, but hey ho this was not a deal to pass up!
Just got to remember to put it on atleast once/twice a week to keep it going. My cos didn't use his for years & tried it recently & the system literally blew up . Its going to cost serious £'s to get it fixed as the new Honda CRV pump & aircon system parts are not cheap!!.No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

Ah, got you.
Yeah I agree, just use it until you find its not working properly any more and then get it done.
My car that i've just had done is 5 years old and this re-gas is the first since it was brand new.
