Having trouble doing to ITV comps, it won't let me use the back button on the browser so I have to keep going back to the original post and clicking on the link again.
I remember once opening the link multiple times, but cannot remember how I do it.
Please help, someone.
I am using firefox but instructions for chrome would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I use firefox and I click on the comp link which opens a new tab and then go back to the link and click on it again which opens another new tab. I keep doing this for the number of entries I need until I have
however many I need. I then enter my details and when the entry has gone through close that tab and repeat until I've completed all my entries. Hope that helps.0 -
You want the firefox addons 'NewTabURL' and 'New tab toolbar button'. In the options for NewTabURL, set the 'default url for new tabs' to 'Current Page'. You still have to open all of the tabs individually but it's fairly quick.
Don't forget to customise the toolbar to add the New Tab button.

I copy the link then open it in a new window. Then I click on the + to open a new Tab, Right Click in the Address Field and select Paste and Go and it opens a new copy of the page, just do that however many times you want the page open. If you use more than one telephone number, you can open however many pages you need for one number, enter them, then Right Click on one of the Tabs at the top and select 'Reload all Tabs' and they clear ready for you to go again with the next number.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Right click on the link (in the post) and choose - 'open in new tab' Then do this multiple times.
I use safari and the opened link just appears and I stay on the original page.
Hope that helps?!December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
you can do one of two things...what I do is fill in the details and submit then hit F5 to refresh and fill it in again..and again..and...
otherwise if you just want to open multiple tabs quickly then hold one of the ctrl/alt or shift buttons and click the link, I think in FF it is shift+click, unsure as I'm currently at work and don't have FF, but just give it a go on each button and see which it is.0 -
If you have a normal mouse, clicking the middle button will open the link in a new tab. Just click on the link with the middle button however many times you're entering the competition.
If you're using a laptop, clicking both the left and right buttons acts as a middle click so you can do the same, but with clicking both buttons on the link instead. I'm not sure if you have to adjust it in settings somewhere to act as a middle click though.2019 Wins

I use snap links plus add on for firefox, just need to right click on mouse and drag over the link as many times as needed. It is also great for opening multiple tabs on comps board without having to leave the main page going backwards and forwards.

Interesting to see all our different ways. I just click on the link very quickly the number of links I want it to open and it opens them all in different tabs. Though sometimes I'm not quick enough so might have to go back to click for a couple more.I am brave, I am bruised

The methods available have varied over time, have also varied according to who ran the comp (e.g. GMTV vs. ITV), and always vary considerably according to the precise IT set-up you have: which OS, which browser, what type of network.
Find whatever works best for you (BACK or REFRESH, usually); but t may be that there are no good shortcuts on your computer!
