There is a gulf between being a good management accountant and dealing with this sort of stuff. That is exactly why I have some clients who are managment accountants, in one case a Finance Director of a £100m company.
We are correcting the blunders we know about. I will bet anyone £1,000 cash at evens there are also material blunders we don't know about. Money to be paid into an escrow account, winner of bet to have authority to withdraw the full balance.
And then,even after one has decided which losses to claim and how to offset them, there is always the super fun element of detailing this correctly on the SA forms.0 -
I have read somewhere recently that this 3 year carry back rule ended in 2010, is that tru, or am i still able to carry back trading losses 2011/12 to income when i was an employee 2008/09?? - many thanks0

Also read somewhere Losses in the first 4 years of trade can be carried back against other income of the 3 previous years. where can i get a definite answer??0
