I have two standard life pensions a group personnel pension plan and a stakeholder pension plan, are there any advantages to these i was thinking of changing them to a Sipp

There will be advantages and disadvantages. Just as there would be to changing them to another personal pension or stakeholder pension.

Your question is a bit like saying "I have a car. Is there any advantages if I change my car".
